
CIDC allows students to showcase their persuasive speaking, communication, and debating skills. In this contest, we will focus on persuasive public speaking and debate. This will help students acquire better poise, speech delivery, civic awareness and public speaking skills.
CONTEST SCHEDULE & ELIGIBILITY
- Eligibility: Grades 5-10 Canadian Students
- Contest Dates:
- Preliminary Round: March 1-21, 2025 (Online Submission)
- Final Round: April 5, 2025 (Online Live)
- Levels: Grades 5/6, Grades 7/8, and Grades 9/10
- Award Ceremony: May 31, 2025
STUDENT RECOGNITION & AWARDS
- Gold Awards: Top 1% of students for each contest level. The award includes a customized medal & e-certificate.
- Silver Awards: Top 2-3% of students for each contest level. The award includes a customized medal & e-certificate.
- Bronze Awards: Top 4-6% of students for each contest level. The award includes a customized medal & e-certificate.
- Honors Award Canadian Schools: Top 7-10% of students for each contest level. The award includes a customized medal & e-certificate.
- Certificate of participation: Given to all participants.
